Hi, I’m Shaylee—the founder and maker behind Collective Candles Co.

Thank you for being here.

What started as a creative hobby grew into a passion for creating products that help make a home feel warm, welcoming, and uniquely yours. As someone who loves creating cozy spaces, I’ve always believed that the little things—a favorite scent, a quiet evening, or a simple daily routine—can make a house feel more like home.

Every candle, wax melt, room spray, and diffuser is thoughtfully developed, tested, and made by me. From testing waxes and wicks to refining fragrances and ingredients, I spend countless hours making sure every product meets the standards I’d want in my own home.

Our Ingredient Standards

Candles

Ingredients: Soy Wax, Coconut Wax, Apricot Wax, Premium Phthalate-Free Fragrance Oils, Cotton Wicks

Why We Use Them: After extensive testing of waxes, wicks, and fragrance combinations, we chose ingredients that delivered the best balance of performance and peace of mind. Our coconut soy wax blend creates a smooth finish and excellent fragrance throw, premium fragrance oils provide long-lasting scent, and cotton wicks promote a consistent, even burn.

Together, these ingredients create a candle designed to perform beautifully while being free from paraffin wax, phthalates, and lead-core wicks.

Wax Melts

Ingredients: Coconut Soy Blend Wax, Premium Phthalate-Free Fragrance Oils

Why We Use Them: After testing different wax options, we chose a coconut soy pillar wax specifically for our wax melts because it provides excellent fragrance performance and helps the melts hold their shape and appearance. Combined with our premium phthalate-free fragrance oils, this wax delivers a strong, long-lasting scent experience.

Together, these ingredients create wax melts designed to fill your space with fragrance while remaining free from paraffin wax and added phthalates.

Room & Linen Spray

Ingredients: Distilled Water, EcoBase™ Room & Linen Spray Base, Premium Phthalate-Free Fragrance Oils

Why We Use Them: We chose EcoBase™ because it delivers excellent fragrance performance while remaining biodegradable, and over 50% plant-derived. This base is approved for body mist applications and aligns with our commitment to thoughtfully selected ingredients.

Combined with distilled water and our premium phthalate-free fragrance oils, it creates a fine mist that refreshes your home and linens with long-lasting fragrance.

Diffusers

Ingredients: EcoBase™ Diffuser Base, Premium Phthalate-Free Fragrance Oils, Fiber Reeds

Why We Use Them: We carefully selected this diffuser base for its ability to slowly and consistently release fragrance over time. Combined with our premium phthalate-free fragrance oils and high-performance fiber reeds, it creates a long-lasting scent experience in both our reed diffusers and car diffusers. Fiber reeds provide a more consistent fragrance throw than traditional rattan reeds, helping maximize scent performance.

Together, these ingredients provide effortless, flameless fragrance designed to bring your favorite scents into every space.
